Welcome Athletes and Families

The Grande Prairie Aquarians Summer Swim Club is a parent led volunteer organization that has been offering summer competitive swimming programming since 1982.  The Club is a member of Swim Alberta and Alberta Summer Swim Association (ASSA) as such follows the policies and guidelines set forth by those governing bodies. As a registered not for profit society, the club is governed by a small volunteer executive board and directors who provide fiscal oversight and management of club business and the swim season. 

The club operates on an approved annual budget that is comprised from swimmer registration fees (this may vary year to year) donations. sponsorships, grants gaming funds and fundraising initiatives .  The Club employs several experienced qualified swim coaches for training and to support various swim meets , a typical swim season runs May to August and will have approximately 60 swimmers ranging in ages 6+. 

Not unlike many parent led youth sport organizations the Club relies on volunteers, we thank you in advance for your support for the successful swim season.
